i would strongly uplift any nursing student to consider the field of Developmental Disabilities. It is sorely undertaught.
BIAS SHOWING - I own taken friends w/DD to hospitals and until I told the nurse/dr to speak to them, I was address exclusively. Even if it would appear that my friends do not understand what is one said, we have no path to know what receptive ability are hidden by the blatant lack of majority expressive abilities.

The geriatric population is increasing & will verbs to increase because medication & treatment modalities are becoming more advance. If I be still in nursing college I would research the increasing geriatric population vs the nursing shortage.
Another great project would be the nurses age . . . they're getting older, will they still form good nurses at 60-70 years ancient?
