What is the quickest and easiest be to bring back rid of a harsh sore throat?
I've had a cold for the recent past week. I'm over the worst of it. I just can't give the impression of being to get over the sore throat and coughing part of the pack. I have tried heat whiskey and honey; hot tea and honey; salt wet; and vinegar and honey. Anymore suggestions? Besides the doctor...broke!

For the help for instant pain use melt salt sea to gargle. Use the numbing throat and mouth sprays with cough drops. Also pocket something internally like ibuprofen for agony and swelling.
You also have to treat the problem which might be post nasal drip. Take something resembling Sudafed PE multi-symptom Sever Cold.

Gargle with saline water something like 8oz and about 3 tbsp of brackish. It sucks but do it and then drink hot dampen with lemon (and a bit of sugar to sort it easier).
