Aromatherapy?


Does feeling chilled out after using a fragranced candle count as aromatherapy?

Answer:    Technically, no, it doesn't count.

Aromatherapy is a medicinal analysis based around essential oil, and essential oils simply. Scented candles, scented dish wash soap, and scented plug-ins may claim to be aromatherapy, but they are most categorically not.

The best thing I can deem of right now to compare it to is TRUE potted plants vs. plastic. Yes, fake plants can sometimes look nice, and they join a life-like green quality to an interior room, but they aren't really comparable to unadulterated plants. A real plant looks nice and add the green, but it also has time, "spirit", it helps filter the heavens and gives bad oxygen.

There should probably be some sort of name for chemical base aroma products, but I don't know what that is. I can apprehend how it confuses people.
You are not confused. Feeling chilled out or relaxed is one of the leading reasons relations do aromatherapy. Relaxation can be a result of certain aromatherapy oil, if they are essential oils and not merely chemical "smell-alikes." But watching a flame flicker can also be relaxing and soothing.

Aromatherapy can be achieved through stinking candles, diffusers, sprays, massage oil, warm baths or simply putting a few drops on a tissue to whirl under your trunk or wear in your pocket.

Some soothing scent are Lavender, Chamomile, Bay, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Ormensis, Lemon Balm (Melissa), Linden, Jasmine, Neroli & Ylang-ylang.
