Correlation between live microbes and leg pains?
I started eating Activia rather over a week ago. I have severe bowel problems but they cannot seem to be to diagnos the porblem. I have be tested for IBS and they said that isnt it. I started eating this Activia yogurt which is supposed to enjoy the Live bacteria contained by it needed to help the digestive system. It have been working but I notice within the ultimate few days I now own sever cramping in my calves, which I never have before. Ive be tested for Anemia several times and my iron count is fine. Could tere be a connection between the live germs and the pain?
Answer:
Though I can't utter for sure, you should research the types of bacteria surrounded by the yogurt, then research bacterial reason for leg pains. I'm doubting it, but just to be sure, do your research.
Anything is possible. Stop the Activia for a few days and see what happen. If your leg pains improve, dance back on the Activia and see if the pains come pay for. If you can make the pains come and progress consistently with this model, then you hold found the problem. However, if the Activia is helping your bowels, it is not likely to be cause leg problems.
As for your comments about IBS. There is NO MEDICAL TEST for IBS - it is a sticky label and NOT a Diagnosis. The IBS 'label' is given to patients with chronic bowel problems when other test have be negative.
A impressively common problem of IBS-like bowel problems that is to say rarely diagnosed surrounded by the U.S. is Celiac Disease. This is an autoimmune disease that occurs surrounded by about one party in every 100 and up to 60% of patients given the 'IBS Label'.
Celiac disease is cause by an allergic reaction to the proteins within wheat, rye and barley known as glutens/gliadins. This disease damages the inside layer of the small intestines and causes malabsorption of underlying nutrients like vitamins and minerals. This malasorption can well lead to severe leg cramps as a result of low body level of Magnesium, Calcium and other nutrients.
If your doctor has not tested you for Celiac Disease, later your doctor is not knowledgeable plenty to help you. Find a strange doc and insist on being tested.
Best wishes and right luck.
