My pain meds (motrin, and vicodin) wear past its sell-by date before its time to filch more. i tried icing my jaw but it other melts and its basically such a hassel what else can i do to rid the pain? =(
Answer:
Get four rime packs. Put two within the freezer, and use the other two to cover both sides of your cheeks. When they get reheat, switch it. it is the BEST way.
also, perchance you should increase the dosage of motrin. unless you're already taking the maximum dosage, in which valise i don't really think that the pills can back you. go for extra strength tylenol or something.
Try panadene fort
When my teeth be removed it didn't really hurt bad but possibly it's just because I be sleeping a lot and didn't really enjoy time to think roughly speaking the pain. Also, I drank greatly of gatorade which felt well brought-up.
meditation, imagine the twinge not their
I spooned a lot of slushies, frosties, etc.
The cold numbs you.
You're already taking the standard medication given for dental pain. Time may be the merely cure. When I had mine out, I be back to common in 2 to 3 days. I know it's not what you want to hear, but that be what I did - took ibuprofen and waited it out.
in fact all of the above. if you don't "meditate" some cavernous breathing while holding the ice pack. Use 800 mgs of motrin every 4-6 hours. And you can alternately take tylenol within 4-6 hour intervals so you are taking something every 2-3 hours. After a week of this you will need to do a fluid fast and liver /skin detox.
Try some ambesol. That stuff for teething babies is some sustain too. I would slam a couple of beers with that Vicodin, as long as you are not driving or working near heavy machinery, or babysitting, or involve to be awake.
EXCEDRIN WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING FOR DENTAL PAIN, EVEN THE CHEAPIE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE BRAND IN THE GREEN BOTTLE FOR $2, SAME THING, COSTS LESS AND MORE DOSES. TRY IT.
Do not do too much activity it get the blood circulating. Put a few drops of clove oil on a small gauze wad on your gums. It has a numbing effect which help.
do take antibiotics near pain killer
only distress killers do not comfort for long time
Had all 4 done at once within the dentist's office. Other than have chipmunk cheeks for 2 weeks, the pain go away permanently.
