I am interested within the Herb Passion Flower for use as sleep aid for a elderly woman. Are within any danger?

Answer:
Actually, passion flower should be fine. Just keep under surveillance for the side effects which are dizziness, ataxia (slow movement), and confusion. Also, watch for drug interactions if she is on other medication especially any drug that act as a central apprehensive system depressant including allergy medicine or others containing antihistamines, as powerfully as sleep and pain medication.

If you want to try something else use Melatonin. 1 tab 1 hour beforehand bedtime. This will supplement your bodys natural production of melatonin and is terribly safe. As we age you body make less melatonin which plays a role within our ability to sleep.

Hope this help. Good Luck and Sweet Dreams!
I'm unsure about that, but enjoy you used chamomile tea? I'm pretty sure that anyone can tolerate that (but still check if she is elderly and if ill).

Lavender helps citizens sleep. They have linen spray, nouns freshener, candles, soaps, incense, lotions, shampoo, body spray, and much more. If lavender is too strong--you can get it within baby strength (lavender infant lotion, body wash, little one oil, etc.)

Maybe that Sleepytime Extra tea would work--and possibly Sleepytime Extra near Valerian. Due to her age, I would read labels carefully--also, lift any meds she takes into consideration.

it say there are several possible side effects. If you use it, you should know what to scrutinize out for. What would concern me is the impairment of cognitive function and dizziness.
i would try valerian instead. it very moral
