Side effects of red yeast rice and niacin non flush?


I get horrid headache since I started red yeast rice and Niacin non- flush. Is this a normal side effect? I merely stared taking this via Dr'.s reccomendation instead of Lipator. it's only be 3 days. Will these headaches budge away, as my body adjusts to this? I follow the rec dosage too.

The side effects planned for red yeast rice are an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the mouth, tongue, or face, hives), unexplained muscle stomach-ache, tenderness, or shabbiness, especially if accompanied by flu-like symptoms. Other smaller quantity serious side effects are upset stomach, heartburn, flatulence, or other digestive or gastrointesinal symptoms, and dizziness.

DO NOT drink alcohol while taking red yeast rice! It is also advised to not pinch Niacin with red yeast rice.

I looked up the side effects of non-flushing niacin and in that wasn't anything listed more or less headaches. But, when I looked up the side effects of niacin it does state headache. I have used the regular niacin and did not seize headaches and I took it near the red yeast rice also. You might want to talk to your doctor or save trying for a few more days and see if your body adjust to this supplement.
Don't know anything about the niacin non flush, but I cart red yeast rice twice daily beside no headaches. If your Doc suggested it , you should ask him.
I hold taken red rice yeast with biddable results, I have headache so couldn't say if it be related or not. Haven't taken niacin.
I've had no side effects from red yeast rice. The niacin non-flush may be cause the headaches. I've have friends who had to stop taking it because of them. I've never taken it.

Personally, I don't consider the headaches are worth the suffering.
I can't see the red yeast rice as the impose of the headaches. The niacin equally is known as a migrain/headache remedy, but not everyone responds duplicate way to the niacin, and it could in fact cause headache. Make sure you are getting enough hose a day when you rob niacin, sometimes that is adjectives you need.
This is not an answer to your put somebody through the mill but I just have to pipe in that in attendance are other alternatives to Lipator, if this combo turns out to not be for you.
