Has anyone get some hints on the best process to donate up smoking please?

I smoked more than 20-a-day for longer than I care to remember and have "tried" to give up loads of times.
I give up eventually 2 years ago, its the best thing I've ever done.
1. you must really really want to contribute up.
2.then resolve on a day
3. buy some nicotine patch, help next to the withdrawal symptoms
4. desolate your last full ashtray into an derelict jam jar and top up next to water......Yuk.......put the lid on
5. enjoy another empty preserve jar next to the yuky one...........
6. move about for it!!!! every time you fancy a cig sniff the yuk jar, every day you dont smoke,put the money you would enjoy spent on cigs in the verbs jar.
7.go for a hike after a meal, exercise is a great road, also stops you knibbling on a few bicckies and putting on the pounds.
8. stay away from smoky places, go to a non-smoking shaft etc.
9. take patch off at darkness, can give you nightmares!
10 suitable luck !!!!! and treat yourself to something nice with the money you amass..........
get tonsilitus or a cold. works every time for me.
if you enjoy the time, nip to the hospitals that are treating patients with emphysema, that should do it for you.

Ive just give up 3 days ago and I'm just keeping myself busy, mostly cooking and doing adjectives the jobs contained by the house that have be ignored, at dark I'm playing video games until I'm tired and this has help a lot !.

Just bloody stop. I come off cocaine lacking any patches or fancy chewing gum. Its call will power. If you want to do it that badly, you'll do it, no gimmick.
the best thing is to keep hold of yourself busy. When you feel the urge to put it into your mouth guzzle something like a carrot stick, something able-bodied. I am trying to stop at the minute and i have found the best article to do is cut down. I have cut down from going on for 20 a day right down to 4 of 5 a morning and usually i just street light it and leave it to burn within the ash tray. Also have a no smokin policy within your house, you will smoke less if you own to go outdoors within the cold to have one. I hope this help you
The best way that help me was using nicotine patch .I only used one month supply and enjoy not had one for 7 years .Give it a shift .Before i tried cold turkey but no joy/
Get Allen Carr's - Easy Way to Stop Smoking book - read it and smoke at the same time - by the time you finish the book - you are brainwashed and never want to touch a cigarette ever again - you WILL confer up comfortably and without the pains and cravings you would generally have - you won't over drink or anything - genius book!!

I started smoking for a very stupid use. when i was contained by college some guy was smoking subsequent to me. Stupid me thought i would try one and that would be that. Boy was i wrong. i come home for Christmas and my dad warned me that i would win addicted. I just did not listen. I own smoked on and off for olden times 9 years. My doc gave me a topical drug called chantix. you keep hold of smoking while you take the first pack of of the drug (i ruminate its 10 days) and than you stop smoking, but keep taking the pills until you are all set to stop. My advice for those who smoke or are thinking in the order of it. DONT even have one cig.. once you do you are hooked and for those who already do smoke. STOP. i know its easier said than done, but you will surface better, you will smell better and most of all..you will live lot longer.
My mother did hypnosis 20 years ago and have not smoked since. She walked out of the therapist's department, threw away her cigarettes and that was it. I be just just this minute hypnotized for something else and have found it to work wonderfully. If you really want to quit and believe that you can, it will work.
Firstly, smoke what you currently smoke fully and in need guilt. No half sucking surrounded by those cigs - go the complete hog! After that you may discover you don't like it as much as you thought and this will facilitate you let it progress. Then the next step would be to procure some nicotine replacements - gum is good as you can control it and those filter ones can be handy for public situations resembling being contained by a restaurant but don't use both at the same time.
