Vitamin problem?

I suffer from Iron problems. I've been taking allot of vitamins for it. The solely thing that my Dr. suggested I do is chomp through allot of meats, I dont approaching meat very much. What other foods would be well brought-up for me eat?

Answer:
Turnip greens, mustard greens and spinach and adjectives legumes.
RED MEAT IS HIGH IN IRON. AND IM ALL ABOUT THE VITAMINS. Drs WONT RECCOMEND VITAMINS B/C THEY DONT MAKE ANY MONEY OFF THEM. AND IF THE DR DIDNT PRESCRIBE IRON PILLS ITS NOT SOOOO LOW
beans and spinach

my mother was hospitalized for low blood count
and i let somebody know you no lie
the doctor suggested that she if truth be told cook her foods in a strike iorn skillet
Even worse, we know that he really said "eat a great deal of liver." Eating spinach is a myth due to a miscalculation a long time ago. There are iron supplements and you might not be real delighted with how you digest them (to put it politely). You hold to take contained by a lot because iron is somewhat complex to adsorb into the body. Please do one or the other because the energy rewards and other robustness benefits are pretty good.
I enjoy a suggestion and a warning for Iron. Others hold mentioned spinach for iron, but do NOT eat spinach if you are diabetic it can in truth be bad for you.
Now, for the best over the counter pure iron source you can get. Blackstrap molasses. One tablespoon contains a whopping 70% of your day after day value of Iron. Blackstrap molasses can also be a scrumptious treat on cereal or other foods. it is also reported to have frequent many other vigour benefits.
Red meats are the single best dietary source of iron. Furthermore, the "heme" iron found surrounded by meats is one of the most bioavailable (e.g. efficiently absorbed) forms of iron.

That being said poorly lit, leafy green vegetables and legumes are your next best bet. While at hand are fair level of iron in these plants it is not in good health absorbed due to a quantity of factors. However, these foods are also illustrious in various other beneficial nutrients which can help within a number of ways.

Supplement-wise.. you should look at those products beside chelated iron. You'll get more from these than you will from products using ferrous fumarate, oxides or other inorganic forms. Look for something that contains something like 50-75% of the RDA per dose and take it surrounded by two doses throughout the day. You'll seize better absorption if you cart them with food, especially milk and vitamin C.

If your stools turn dark and own a tarry consistency then you are excreting most of your supplemental iron. Try taking smaller doses more frequently.

While you can carry adequate iron from vegetable sources it take quite some application. Supplements will probably be your most convenient method, though I still encourage lots of those leafy, green veggies and beans.
Raisins are a right also
Great question.

Meat is a great source of iron, solely trouble is you deplete it when you start to cook the meat. And your body doesn't absorb it impressively well.

A better source of iron is leafy green vegetables. Broccoli, spinach, and the similar to.

I've not eaten meat for over 15 years and own no problems with my iron level.

I do take a supplement every sunshine, but it's a whole food supplement i.e. derived from real fruits and vegetables not synthetic vitamins.

All the best.
Seafood provide more iron than meat. However, vitamins are different from iron. Iron comes below minerals. So, take a multivitamin next to minerals included or if you are taking an only vitamins pill, supply an extra iron pill. Liver has glorious iron content too.
I personally would never stir back to a doctor that recommend lots of meat for iron poor blood. if this is a long term dietary plan later you are heading for cholesterol problems and heart and artery disease. also high meat intake is associated next to many cancer. better to eat beans, dusk green veggies, nuts, dark purple raisens and prunes/and conceivably some meat. seafood and chicken is better than red meat
Please don’t eat meat for a source it may be containing lot of diseases prone things !Secondly animals are not for man to eat !Now other things surrounded by nature is green vegetables contain lot of iron and your system will occupy this natural iron more joyfully !Green and more brown vegetable and chlorophyll do contains iron !one more piece if iron taken un necessarily for a long term it will hold a cumulative effect in the liver !an added that if iron is taken alone than it may not get gripped !If taken with vitamin C which promotes its incorporation !You will surprise to know that there is a Iron block appliance in our intestine which do not allow iron to gain absorbed for that sunshine if daily requirement is done You should know that iron alone is powerless for hemoglobin to rise !Vitamin B12 and protein also should be taken !simultaneously!
