Answer: SOUP! Nice, hot, homemade soup. Not condensed, crap-in-a-can.
Grape juice, red, and lots of it.
Sleep. No departure the bed except for bathroom, and perhaps to bring more soup/juice.
These don't provide much relief, but you'll obtain better MUCH faster. Feel better.
Chicken soup - natural anti-biotic. Ginger ale. Vicks on foot with socks on - be sure to clean off subsequent morning as pores will be open for more entering of cold nouns.
