When I go to bed at dark my mind has around a million diferent though running through it. I want some ideas on how to clear my mind so that I can relax and be in motion to sleep without drugs. Let me know what you do. I NEED DETAILS!
Answer:
My passageway is kind of strange...I use this when I meditate or when I just want to clear my mind, resembling when I'm trying to fall asleep. Okay. So you hold to close your eyes and imagine a white situation. Just white, nothing else. Now picture a container in the middle of the white. Any gentle of container, a box, a bottle, a jar, etc. I like to use a trashcan. Now, visualize all of your thoughts and state of mind and emotions that you are experiencing right presently. Now imagine that you are stuffing respectively and every one of them into the container. Now close the lid on the container in your mind, and you can dream of your locked it and chained it to the floor, I don't protection. Now push it out of the white background. And...quiet. You might have to try this a couple of times, but trust me, it works! Hope I help =)
Sometimes I read or meditate
Meditate...even prayer...I usually do this "relax" thing next to the kids...my 8 year old have a hard time shutting down but it works for him adjectives the time...just start near the head and articulate relax your mind, relax your temples, your cheek, your neck...and progress down every part of your body to your toes. When you do that to yourself you focus on your breathing and only just inhale/exhale and relax and focus on your breathing etc.
It's hard to free the brain....when I worked I could never shut off my mind. It seem work was on it 24/7 and within my dreams and again when I got up...that's when you know you have need of a little symmetry. Exercise helps abundantly, but not late at dark...do destress and that will help greatly.
Mornings can be hectic. But in between getting the kids bad to school and juggle a host of other duties, you still want to make sure you take off the house looking your best. So we've gathered some tips that will comfort you do just that, including expert direction from Kellie Walsh, a professional makeup artist and mother of two.
well you could count sheep or basically close your eyes and count your brethes until you fall asleepor drink thaw out milk because warm milk is a proven certainty to make you jump to sleep faster and you wont have time to meditate of your problems because youll be sleepy well hope that help alittle
Personally, I like using Anglican prayer bead.
http://www.kingofpeace.org/prayerbeads.h...
It's kind of close to a rosary. It's a round of beads, and you read aloud a prayer for each bead, and you budge around 3 times.
Now, if you're not religious, you could still use these, and instead of saying a prayer, you could croon a mantra for each bead.
One that works capably for me is "All is well, adjectives is well, and adjectives matter of things shall be economically." I say that procession once for each 'week' (small)bead. You can articulate a different mantra for the cruciform (bigger) beads if you approaching.
I find that this really calms me down, help me forget about my worries for the time man. The repetitive nature help slow down my heart rate and relaxes me.
You will also want to try cutting fund on caffiene (like no caffeine after 3 or 4 pm). Cammomile tea works really well too. There's a tea call "Sleepy Time" (http://www.celestialseasonings.com/produ... ) that's really nice.
I've also heard that heat up milk with honey and nutmeg works too.
Hope that help! Sweet dreams :)
It's a technique I learned from The Sedona Method that I know from personal experience certainly works because I use to have duplicate problem. All you have to do is to focus on your mind and hang on to saying "I love you" for awhile. Yeah, I didn't believe that it'd work any, but ohmygod, it did!
First, I drink hot cocoa before bed. It is comforting.
Second, I hold a fan or nouns filter going to block outside noise,
Third, i don't similar to to think at darkness. For me, nothing fitting comes of it. So, I read a book until I get drowsy.
Remember to hold comfy clothes on, enough blankets, a obedient pillow that is suited to you, and the warmth in your room that you find comfortable for sleeping. If none of that works, try imagine a secluded country house. See it in your mind. See the reheat fire crackling, hear the rain falling outside, quality the soft thick mattress, the melt blanket over you. Picture what it looks like within your cabin within detail. Sometimes this works for me. Keeps my mind busy till I drift off. But usually, I read.
Good luck to you!
Before you dance to sleep perhaps you should drink a cup of chamomile tea beside rose buds in them. It's scrumptious. Chamomile is an herb that helps your body relax and calm down down.
When laying contained by bed, to clear your thought I recommend meditation. Some things you can do:
Think about zilch. It's really hard to do at first, but the more you practice, the easier it'll become. Every time a thought enter your mind completely ignore it and create in your mind throwing it away.
Lay in your bed. Breath truly and relax your body. Start from your toes and "feel" every part of your body minus touching it. Just focus on your toes at first.... feel them against your mattress and against your blanket. Work up the body.... I other fall asleep around my torso.
If nought helps try reading a book on meditation or aroma psychiatric help. Different oils and scent in your room might serve your body relax better.
Best Wishes,
Anna
