If you're looking for a good non-prescription allergy pills I would definately go out and attain Alavert. I have horrible spring and summer allergies and I definately prefer Alavert over any of the other allergy meds. It's quickly acting, and, as you mentioned you were looking for, it won't build you drowsy. It's a bit pricey...but, not much more (if any more) than Claritin.
