Try to get as much Pedialyte down your babe-in-arms as possible and change doctors! That is so dodgy. 2 weeks ??????????

Get a second assessment. The baby could dehydrate when it's coming out both ends. By some pedialite pocycles or regular popsycles. Little by little hold on to getting liquids surrounded by the child. Non-dairy, if the baby have a stomach that's doing that, then dairy will trade name it worse. If it's been two weeks, my doctor would own the baby contained by the hospital.

what sympathetic of virus? i would keep tylenol contained by the baby.... try some rice cereal for the diarrea..and liquid so the baby doesnt grasp dehydrated. plus the cereal will probably fashion baby sleep better.
he/she may be teething too, my kids be always solid cranky and it seemed approaching they had a cold, when they be teething, you might try teething tablets... and another thing that works wonders, is a nice thaw out bath. and deeply of cuddleing.

If I were you, I would emergency that a blood sugar test be done on your babe-in-arms. If he/she has be vomiting and has diarrhea for two weeks, they might hold dangerously low blood sugar level. That happened to my son. They checked him into the hospital, and get him re-hydrated, and his blood sugar levels support up through an I.V. They were also competent to give him something to relief the nausea. (It was a drug specifically made for chemotherapy patients.) The poor thing! Imagine impression sick to your stomach for two weeks! Once they were competent to break the cycle of vomiting, he got better. But he be in the hospital for 4 days. Whatever you do do not give the kid any juice that will kind it worse. The best thing you could do is try to grasp the baby to devour some kind of solid foods close to rice cereal or something along that line. Even some style of bread.

I hold to agree with Nick Z, breast milk. My elder baby get the Rodium (not sure how it's spelled) virus when she was 5 monthes, which cause her diarrhea and my Dr. said to do nothing but breastfeed because breastmilk have an ingredient that's supposed to stop diarrhea besides many other things. My kid recuperated rapidly while my friend's baby get the same virus (it's a seasonal virus) and it took nearly 1 1/2 wk to get better.
