5 month ripened tot have diareha & vomiting for 2 wks Dr. say its a virus what should I distribute to to breed it stop?

Answer:
Plain boiled water at room warmth is safe and it prevents dehydration. For diarrhea you can use Kaopectate--baby strength--for risk-free dose check with your pharmacist or baby's doctor--it is innate and safe for babies and babyish children--my kids pediatrician recommended it often. However, vomiting is a serious problem because one may choke on it, so please do not live infant alone even when asleep, and do not wait any longer. See your doctor again, or want second opinion. Do you enjoy home visiting doctors surrounded by your area? It may be better for a exceptionally sick baby than an emergency room contained by your local hospital. Please verify that your baby does nor own an adverse reaction to formula or liquid, for example, and it is good to sterilize adjectives baby bottles, cups, plates, and so on, and to mop up the bedding and baby clothes near non-allergenic soap. Every bit helps, Speedy repossession!
Make sure to give plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Rice cereal and bananas are biddable for that too.
see a new DR.
Consult another Dr or help yourself to the baby to the ER.
put sprite within his bottle and shake it up..water it down for a while. it will put oxygen in his system itstead of throwing up he will burp..it works.
Why didnt the doctor inform you???????? Call him & tell him that your toddler is still sick & ask him.If you are not satisfied next to his answer,,Id take the babe-in-arms to the ER & get a fresh doctor.I know your baby should be have pedialyte for the dierrea,,the baby can gain very parched!!
Try to get as much Pedialyte down your babe-in-arms as possible and change doctors! That is so dodgy. 2 weeks ??????????
Follow the doctor's instructions, but the main item is keep him hydrated.
Get a second assessment. The baby could dehydrate when it's coming out both ends. By some pedialite pocycles or regular popsycles. Little by little hold on to getting liquids surrounded by the child. Non-dairy, if the baby have a stomach that's doing that, then dairy will trade name it worse. If it's been two weeks, my doctor would own the baby contained by the hospital.
Your doctor should have given you some medication,Either catch a second opinion or pinch the baby to the A&E of your local Hospital.
what sympathetic of virus? i would keep tylenol contained by the baby.... try some rice cereal for the diarrea..and liquid so the baby doesnt grasp dehydrated. plus the cereal will probably fashion baby sleep better.
he/she may be teething too, my kids be always solid cranky and it seemed approaching they had a cold, when they be teething, you might try teething tablets... and another thing that works wonders, is a nice thaw out bath. and deeply of cuddleing.
Listen to your Dr. It is a myth that viruses single last a couple of days. Make sure that your child is drinking plenty of fluids and have wet diapers. Call the Dr. support if not because of dehydration. Also put together sure to clean everything and Lysol everything to wipe out the germs in the house.
Human breast milk have antibodies against a variety of infectious agents. And breastfeeding is probably the best inborn treatment and nourishment for a toddler of this age.

P.S. Don't give Tylenol or any over the counter medication without guidance from a doctor or a nurse. An overdose of Tylenol can kill a soul by destroying his liver. The right dose depends on the patient's body weight. And for a 5-month outmoded baby, one and only a doctor is qualified to calculate the right dose.
What loving of virus is it? My son contracted a rotavirus, and it didn't just be in motion away. That could be what your baby have. If I were you, I would emergency that a blood sugar test be done on your babe-in-arms. If he/she has be vomiting and has diarrhea for two weeks, they might hold dangerously low blood sugar level. That happened to my son. They checked him into the hospital, and get him re-hydrated, and his blood sugar levels support up through an I.V. They were also competent to give him something to relief the nausea. (It was a drug specifically made for chemotherapy patients.) The poor thing! Imagine impression sick to your stomach for two weeks! Once they were competent to break the cycle of vomiting, he got better. But he be in the hospital for 4 days. If your child's doctor isn't doing anything to backing, here, take your newborn to the nearest children's hospital, and demand that something be done to relieve your child. Good luck to you. I hope your little one gets better soon!
If it's a virus at hand is nothing much you can do...

If you own had the child vaccinate recently you may decision to review the package insert and look at the adverse reaction section. Johns Hopkins School of Public Health have all the bag inserts involving vaccination. You should enjoy been told roughly the possible side effects before they injected into your child. If your doctor didn't do this up to that time they injected the vaccine, they just broke federal informed consent law established in adjectives 50 states.

Good luck!

Hello,
Whatever you do do not give the kid any juice that will kind it worse. The best thing you could do is try to grasp the baby to devour some kind of solid foods close to rice cereal or something along that line. Even some style of bread.
I hope that I helped you and I hope your tot feels better.

I hold to agree with Nick Z, breast milk. My elder baby get the Rodium (not sure how it's spelled) virus when she was 5 monthes, which cause her diarrhea and my Dr. said to do nothing but breastfeed because breastmilk have an ingredient that's supposed to stop diarrhea besides many other things. My kid recuperated rapidly while my friend's baby get the same virus (it's a seasonal virus) and it took nearly 1 1/2 wk to get better.
Take your child to the emergency room if this have been going on for two weeks. Dehydration happen quickly surrounded by infants, and you don't want to take a opening with that. Pedialyte, Gatorade or some other electrolyte-balancing soft will help preserve the baby from person dehydrated for a minute, but it is not effective for the long occupancy.

Typically, a virus runs its course within 3 to 4 days. In the skin of a virus, you don't want to stop the vomiting and diarrhea because that is what flushes the virus out of the system. It in actuality takes longer to procure over it if you take anti-diarrheals. In your baby's casing, however, it has be much longer than the usual term for a virus, which could indicate something more serious.
Give child LOTS of fluids and consult the doctor just about immodium (you can get it OTC if the doc give the dose) but you should start considering other causes. Is it allergic to milk or the formula it's consumption? Look for rashes and other things similar to fever. You should hang on to in close contact near the doctor because this could get serious.
SAMBUCOL for KIDS. Found at meijers for 15 dollars. It is made from Black elderberry (sambucus nigra) berries. IT IS AMAZING ON VIRUSES! cuts the time down.

I own been taking it as a preventative (lowered dosage) and hold not had the flu for FIVE years. It is amazing. Yes, little babies can hold it too, IF you buy sambucol for kids. Health food stores carry it also.
Here is a relation, where it is on public sale right now, but to achieve it faster, just know that if here is a meijers or health food store surrounded by your area, walk there!
