Natural Insect Repellent for pregnancy?

I am looking for an insect repellent that I can use while I am pregnant. I don't want to use one containing DEET or other nasty chemicals, but most of the intuitive ones I have see contain essential oils and read aloud they are not suitable for use during pregnancy. Apart from covering up with clothes, what can I use?

Answer:
Try mixing a few drops of geranium essential grease into a carrier grease ( like almond oil) or possessor cream( should find all you entail at good chemists approaching Boots or health shop)....used plentiful different oils on my daughter and found that geranium is best ( and nontoxic whilst you are pregnant) ....you could also try it with tea tree grease too.
You could try eating plenty of garlic - apparently it keep the mozzies away. Try asking in a condition food store - they might have something crude which you could use.
I have one for my son call Swyflatter (Flw Swatter turned around) It was given to me and I cogitate it came from a vigour food store.
Garlic and also bananas.
I used Avon's skin-so-soft to repel mosquitoes and flies. It really works.

Don't eat bananas. Tests enjoy shown that mosquitoes are attracted to people who chomp through them on a regular basis.
There are foods you can put away which then deter insects such as garlic. There are others but not sure which. I used to use whats call Mossie - milk(not a joke) but its difficult to find in stores. My relatives found it very efficient but not sure of chemical contents. There were no medical warning on bottle from what I remember.
Why not put the deet on your clothes during evening when mossies are most active? If you are that worried should you even be flying? Consider going somewhere where on earth you dont need anti-mossie stuff.
Good luck next to the anti-malaria tablets if you have to rob them - they are foul.

PS
WHICH IDIOT IS MARKING EVERYONE DOWN. IF YOU CANT COMMENT WITH INTELLIGENCE THEN REMOVE YOURSELF IN SHORT JERKS.
There is a product that Avon makes call "skin so soft". It is an after bath grease, but, it repels mosquitoes. My husband learned in the order of it in the Army.
Check out the following pattern site. I think you'll find it adjectives. Good luck. btw, you must be in Australia if you stipulation insect repellent this time of year.

Garlic tablets and Vitamin B. Not one single bite surrounded by India proves they work!!! Have to take 2 months earlier though
Apparently Avon skin-so-soft (it's a moisturizer) works pretty well though it doesn't smell unbelievably nice!
There is a lady who know all at hand is to know about oil! Eve Taylor. www.eve-taylor.com. Or you could try T Tree but check before using as i don't know if not detrimental whilst pregnant.
