Insomnia and chocolate?
My whole own flesh and blood suffers from insomenia, my self included. But I discovered recently that if I get through a little piece of chocolate only just after I wake up (dark works best) that I spatter back asleep almost imediately. Any one know why?
Answer:
Eating chocolate stimulates the release of endorphins, the feel-good chemical.
Chocolate is also said to contain Tryptophan, the chemical contained by turkey that makes you sleepy after a Thanksgiving dinner!
Tryptophan is a pre-cursor to seratonin.
It a short time ago makes you consistency GOOD when you eat chocolate. :)
your tired and sometimes caffinee can hold the reverse effect if your body dosent have the get-up-and-go to be awake
whatever works
Not sure why. I'm beside you, though. If I wake up during the hours of darkness, it's difficult for me to go put a bet on to sleep without my chocolate "fix", too. I other thought it was because I drink soda during the time and my body was craving the caffeine.
