Is it past the worst to supplement beside Calcium Butyrate?
Hi,
I continuously show low amounts of Butyrate on my Compreshensive Digestive System Analysis.
I want to increase my Butyrate levels . . is it out of danger to take the supplement?
Is at hand a better way to increase butyrate?
I own taken probiotics but they methylate mercury in my gut and I capture lots of neuro and eye problems from them.
Thanks, Sue T
Answer:
It doesn't seem to be used extremely commonly.
The best ways to increase butyrate production in the gut are to increase consumption of soluble fiber such as fructooligosaccharide (FOS) and increase intake of resistant starches, which are a component of most vegetables.
The 2nd dietary source , the with the sole purpose direct source in the diet is from butter, which contains 3% butyrate.
