How does sleep crust turn out?
I know I have a disposition to ask body-related questions, but I find the human body stimulating and am a little overly-curious.
So, how does sleep crust get hold of there? And no, I don't want the Sandman as an answer!

it is simply dust that settles at the corners of the eyes, it combines near tears to make the crust, also some dry skin issues can make the addition of to the crustiness.

It's moisture from your eyes drying around your eyelids and leaving remains.
The sleep crust within the corner of your eye is how your eyes clear themselves of irritants - primarily dust mites - during the night. It is dried tears and doesn`t matter what your eye tried to clear from its surface while you slept.
(Next time you have a larger than usual amount suggest back: be you in a dusty environment the daylight before? Did a great deal of cleaning? Out in a pollen jam-packed area possibly for a picnic or a ball hobby?)
