Acupuncture for migraines?

My neurologist asked me to consider acupuncture for my migraine headaches since I hold not found sufficient relief beside medication. Has anyone had experience beside acupuncture for the treatment of headaches? Did it serve? Did your insurance pay for it?

Answer:
Other than acupuncture, my chinese physician give me some herbal medicines and syrups to pinch before the acupuncture treatment starts. I haven't get to the acpuncture part but but the meds worked well so far. Had to rate for it myself as traditional chinese medicine is not considered as an orthodox medical practice over here

Btw, he told me to avoid positive foods like coffee, chocolates etc
My friend did and it help reduce the severity of her attacks. She compensated for it herself (UK so different sytem to US);
No, Reiki is much more effective than acupuncture Reiki works on adjectives levels of your body: physically, mentally, emotionally and beyond....
I hold done distant healings for people beside all kind of health problems from mild to extreme. And most general public have notice results.
I can send Reiki to you for free. I in recent times need your authorization. Reiki works for migraines too.
