The herpes simplex virus that cause cold sores is highly contagious yes. So if a creature with a cold sore have just touched their sore, later handed you progress and you then touch your mouth, you could contract one. But what are the likelihood of you doing that? Also, once you have it, you've get it for life. It lies dormant surrounded by your body and flares up on occasion.
The best remedy I know of is geranium essential grease. Mix three drops in a short time olive oil and later dab the sore beside a cotton bud that has be dipped in the mixture. Just be sure to valet your hands after touching the sore, not one and only to keep it from spreading to someone else, but also to preserve it from spreading to your nose or eyes.
Campho-phenique works very well, particularly if you entrap it when the sore hasn't really erupted yet. If you can go and get to a health food store, Pusatilla works wonders. L-lysine comes contained by a salve within the same aisle of the supermarket that chapstick is contained by, and I have found it works exceptionally well and is soothing in particular if the sore is open or cracked.
try l lysine..some home remedies will dry them but not cure them. yes they will leave behind by touching hands if you are unlucky, not usually
