How can i stop cracking my knuckles?


I just can't stop and yeah i know its not going to bestow me arthritous but i dont want to have an urge to crack my knuckles at serious times for much longer it get annoying

It takes 3 weeks to break a way. You must reward yourself with something drastically nice (a new guitar, stereo, etc.) if you can walk for 3 weeks without cracking your knuckles. You should also plan on some short-term rewards resembling going to a movie, or having an rime cream sundae, if you make it through respectively day.

Good luck! I've be cracking my knuckles for 35 years. You don't want to do that!

Sounds similar to a nervous mannerism. Whenever you do something relaxing like reading a book or resting, see if you're cracking your knuckes. Chances are you're not, and you can concentrate on those times whenever you touch like doing it. I own some nervous tics myself, and sometimes a short time ago forcing yourself to not give within, and thinking of something to do that will get your mind sour of it works. It's like biting your nail. Quit for a few weeks, and you may have it broken.

Put a rubber band around your wrist and the subsequent time you find yourself about to do it, snap the rubber fastening instead. It will condition you to not do it over time.

This is a habit. The best path to break a habit is awareness. When you are aware that you are just about to do something out of habit; STOP and do something else to interrupt the dependence.

To gain awareness of what is going on; you could practise meditation once a day, afterwards practise mindfulness as you go roughly your day.
