You'd do better to consult a medical journal fairly than strangers on Yahoo, use resources from experts not just any Joe on internet. That's what's wrong near education system surrounded by US, no one know how to research.
You could try asking my first grade son's classmates, the conservatory seems hell bent on making sure they know everything at hand is to know about drugs in this day and age. My son came home asking me why anyone would want to sniff sugar up their nose.

here are different types of drugs
stimulants- coke, speed, amphetamines, caffeine
depressants- alcohol
hallucinogens- pcp, lsd
narcotics- opium, heroin, morphine
im not sure if cannabis has its own category or not
i could explain within detail, but I am not a fast typer, so ...
