Is in that anything over the counter to treat an earache, not ringing within the ears?

Answer:    Sure...lots of eardrops can be purchased at your local store. I use olive oil warm in the microwave next to chopped garlic, or garlic juice...works wonders for me
There are drops but you should really procure checked for an inner ear infection. I know this is a weird suggestion but try a hair dryer aimed at your ear.

This should serve.

Yes Similasan makes a fundamentally good ear drop medication for ear aches specifically sold over the counter.
http://www.similasanusa.com/products-ear... If the earache is caused by an infection, next unfortunately no.

polymyxin ear drops are roughly prescribed for outer and middle ear infections, when the eardrum isn't punctured. you might get lucky and be capable of find them at a local supplier without need a prescription, but that is a long shot. I can't even demand them from a canadian pharmacy without a prescription.

You could try garlic grease. Here is a website which explains it:

It is also worth noting that the ingredients contained by polymyxin ear drops are the same ingredients contained by extra strength polymycin antibacterian ointment, except the unguent has an grease base. But if you put that salve in your ears, and it hurts you, its your own damned mistake. Proceed with wariness. Personally, I would read the instructions on the linked page, and try the garlic grease for a few days first.

Good luck to you.
If infection Grapefruit Seed Extract liquid, diluted 5 drops within 3 oz of water. Use a dropper to put several drops contained by ear.

If irritation, then tea tree grease and/or garlic drops. Warm olive oil (also sold as sweet grease in stores).
you enjoy an ear infection go see a Dr Similasan ear drops are great. A couple drops of heat up olive oil also works. With any one just get sure you let it sit surrounded by there for a couple minutes formerly you tilt your head the other path to let it run out.
A drop or two of grease of oregano might help. Make sure you permit it drain deep into your ear, though. Don't tolerate it dribble out. warm sweet grease is commonly used for earaches and is also sold over the counter. but a warm blow dryer aimed at your ear will lend a hand as well
