Should we distribute everyone near an incurable disease to live on an unhabitated island?
Maybe we could purify society. Just asking.
Answer:
God forbid you should ever be stricken with an incurrable disease...consequently how would you feel?
Hitler tried to "purify" the Germans...look what it get him (and thousands and thousands of innocent people)...
You may want to watch "Shindler's List" or" Sophie's Choice"..these are two movies that will split at your heart and soul...and leave you a MUCH more tolerant individual...
And if they fail to do that...something desires to soften a heart so rugged that those movies would not make you cry...
Purify indeed....
I hope not as my dad have cancer and his is not curable but I wouldn't want to distribute him there. My best friend have Bronchiectasis which is not cureable and I don't want her going either.
No, afterwards we will never find a cure for it. Remember leprosy?
It is a good hypothesis to send everyone near STDs to an Isand to purify the society.
Yes and you should drive them all in that.
Thanks for the two points looser!
Most people dont similar to that idea but it unquestionably would solve some issues especially with genetic diseases that are heritable. I would voluntarily do it for the good of society if I have a communicable, incurable or genetic disease. It saves money too. Then you win into pre pregnancy genetic testing issue which is also controversial so I doubt race will like it. One have to be totally unselfish and noble to be in motion for that.
it might be a bad belief.it could lead to a few even worse consequences for society.if we protect society from any one that could threaten it(diesease, pathology, mental condition, sanitation standards, religion and so on)there would be no end of the deprivations the human mind could presume of.the idea seem good, but it could dance the eugenics route quickly, especially since the human dna have been map.i would hate to be on the voted out tribe...
That's a slippery slope. There are heaps incurable diseases that are not communicable -- cancer, MS, thyroid disease, diabetes, migraine, glaucoma, etc. We could end up beside more people on that island than we'd own left contained by society. We've had great leaders next to incurable diseases. We'd lose many, frequent valuable member of society. Not, in my thinking, worth it.
Trust me that would not solve the problem. Sending the not so smart ones that might aid!
Why stop there? Let's seperate the race too loser. You should live within the significantly contagious community.
Okay, what if you had scabbies and you could not receive rid of it, and what if yo' mother and your father put you on a island and wanted nil else to do with you. How would you have a feeling?
ladytx03 that would not be a nice thing too do and if we did, it will hurt every -one believe about it those who staunch there go to render Christ like services for the uplifting of others Scientist -Doctors -Nurses-the list be in motion on and on . We would do away with seriously of professions, I'm sure you agree.
LOL
Yeah, lets start next to you...
