Help for youngster beside headache?? :)?
My nephew is 13 and has newly developed bad migraine or migraine-like headache. I'm not sure the reason for it; it could be the kick-off of puberty, his diet, normal growing pains, or other factor. Has anyone experienced this with their son or someone they know around equal age; and if so, what are your thoughts? Also, is there any unprocessed thing he could filch, such as an herbal supplement, or some natural practice, that would backing alleviate his headaches?
Answer:
The Homeopathic Remedy NATRIUM MUR contained by 30X potency is considered the best for Headache of teenagers, give it to him three times a sunshine half hour up to that time meals till his migraines are totaly gone. No side effects or complications, total nouns.
Take care and God Bless you !
It may be sinus and allergies...steal him to a Dr and find out.
Giving someone herbal things is not a good model, unless you know for sure they aren't allergic to them or they won't interact with other meds and food they take/eat.
Have a dentist examine his teeth and gums. That happen to a friend and after about five years of contract killer migraines, a dentist discovered by accident a terrifically sever gum infection. It was in actuality killing him. After surgery and a round of antibiotics, no more headache.
My son has have migraine headaches since he be small, it started when he was 5 years older...I had a full work up on him and within is nothing neurologically wrong...the doctors thought it might be due to the certainty his paternal grandmother and father suffered from them.
You hold to get within on the headache as soon as it starts..don't wait to dispense him something...the longer you wait the tiniest likely the pills will work. My son is 13 now and this is what we use.
Aleve for the most severe ones (1 tablet)...near Hylands migraine relief tablets (2) more if needed every 4 hours..(a homeopathic remedy) we own tried Head on as well...it does work, for smaller number severe headaches...use it across the forehead and rear of neck. I supply him peppermint tea for the upset stomach..Yogi Tea..is the brand name.
He carry the Head-on and the Hylands migraine headache relief tablets within his back pack..as arts school doesn't allow him to carry Motrin or other medicine. This usually helps him out at institution till the end of the year and I always convey Aleve with me, basically in crust so I can give one as soon as I pick him up from arts school.
My sons migraines seem to be brought on most from loud tumult, stress at school..and perfume are big triggers for him..also, soda's containing aspartame..approaching Dt.Coke..this is an immediate headache trigger for him.
I hope that help..Take Care.
I grew up in a own flesh and blood full of migraine sufferers, of which I am one. Mine began at the age of seven, and I hold had them adjectives of my life, and I'm very soon 50. My father had them; my grandmother have them; my aunts and uncles had them, and etc. There doesn't seem to be to be a particular drive for those awful things. We just shift to the doctor, and get some cramp medication. The older we attain, however, the less frequent they become. I know that that's not much minister to to a 13-year-old, but I'm just sharing my experience. A devout doctor will understand, and prescribe the correct medication. Don't stop trying physicians until you find one who truly understand.

I would definitely see a doctor so you can rule out anything serious near the brain. Eye strain also causes headache, so you might have his daydream checked. The most imortant thing is making sure that it is nil serious. The How to Herb Book (page 208) says, "Headaches are cause by many reason: hypoglycemia, congested colon, stress, spinal maladjustment, illness, mineral or vitamin deficiency, hormonal imbalances, etc. Many times when you treat a headache you are treating the symptom and not the grounds. try to find out what is causing the headache and next remove the cause....People who suffer from migraine headache are notorious for their poor drinking habits. Elimination of sugar, chocolate, graceful foods are a must...Some people own found that taking B Vitamins daily prevents.... headache. Chiropractic care have worked wonders for Migraine and other headaches."
Meanwhile, it is possible to treat the strain by natural method. Here are a few ideas.
***Peppermint Headache Relief
Rub (pure peppermint oil) directly on skin where on earth it hurts. Two of Peppermint's main switch constituents are menthol (35%-55%) and flavonoids. Also, new studies show pure Peppermint grease is as good as Tylenol for relieving headache.

*** Glycerite of Fenugreek and Thyme
***White Willow Bark, Wild Lettuce, Wood Betony, Feverfew, Valerian are effective (The ABC Herbal by Steven H. Horne). Horne suggests massage capsicum and lobelia extract into the neck and shoulders until the mucles become relaxed and flexible.
We don't own a lot of headache, so I can't say that these methods are tried and true. I am going to offer them a try in the future-especially the Peppermint Oil because I hold some on hand. I hope this help.
Headaches in children are plausible caused by undiagnosed food allergies, typically wheat, eggs and soy. Have him hang on to a food diary (fitday.com or nutridiary.com) and see if he notices a stencil of headaches coming on after intake certain foods. He desires to document EVERYTHING he eats, including candy, mints, gum, vitamins, etc. You can probably sort this out in a week or two. You might also consider allergy testing.
A herb call feverfew has be used for century's.You can also try a b vitamin called inosital. Both are available at form food stores.
He should see a doctor. Among other things, it could be allergies or he could be grinding his teeth at night. He would requirement a medical person to digit it out. In any case, don't permit it go on too long minus a diagnosis because teens have profoundly to do. I'm sure he can't spend time being incapacitated by headache, poor guy.I wish you the best...
Headaches can be a wreak of an imbalance surrounded by hormone levels. I would not have an idea that that is it surrounded by case of a 13 y/o but probably puberty is causing it. There are herbal suppliments as resourcefully that should help. walk to healthquest.peoplesway.com and look at PROTEC. Also PRO MC is a cream for men that balances hormone level. But most acne is a zinc problem and it has zinc so of late a tiny dab can be used by teenagers of any sex to put right on pimples. I suffer from migraines and the best way to rid of it essentially is a hand message. There is a muscle between your thumb and index finger, you own someone message the hand on the side your migrain is on. You will find the spot tender, rub the spot by pinching it beside your other hand if you don't enjoy someone to do it for you. It usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes and you will slowly feel the migrain disappear, preserve rubbing the tender spot till the migraine is completely gone.
If that don't work, take a soft gel Advil and get some sleep.
My son also suffers from migraines and I determined it is do to hyperactive character. He is now 13 and I've tought him how to meditate. I on the odd occasion get them in a minute since I've learn to control my hyperactive tendency.
My mother, one of my brothers and I all suffer from migraines. It is a disease that can be adjectives. If both parents suffer from migraines, their children have a 75 percent break of getting them; when only one parent get migraines, there is a 50 percent destiny of a child being afflicted. So, you might want to net sure it really is a migraine he is suffering from and not something more severe. If it turns out to be so, then the sense for the onset does enjoy something to do with his age; most migraine sufferers originate experiencing symptoms around puberty.
Having him take a magnesium supplement will back lessen the attack frequency. Also, keeping a journal that list what sort of activities he be doing/foods he was ingestion when the migraine appeared will help determine his migraine triggers.
