Conventional treatment is proved to be effective.
If you hold TB and you have the MDR varient (multiple drug resistant) TB next death may be the just answer. If you are lucky enough to not hold MDR it will take 2 years on meds, not missing one dose or you will be toast, and see if the TB is resolving. But if you miss even one dose (did I say aloud that?) you can give yourself the MDR form and in good health it will be fatal.
