Anyone else experience deodorant crystal stones beside saw-like edges?
I've bought deodorant crystal stones a couple of times and both developed holes which became saw-like edges. I've actually be cut by the stones. I rinse thoroughly before and after using. I've also notice white spots developing when I don't use them for a while. Anyone have an explanation for this?
Answer:
They are made of brackish.
If you keep them surrounded by your bathroom, condensation from the shower/bathtub is likely getting onto them, cause them to "melt".
Why not just use stick deodorants?
I other run the crystal deodorants under the hit before I use them to help out dissolve the surface so it is not so sharp. I have a leaning to drop them, and they break. The broken edges are sharp until I've wet them a few times.
The white spots I enjoy noticed are dried out bits, or minute cracks. Nothing to verbs about because nil can grow on those crystals.
