i want to take ginger root for my nausea, but i dont know if it will really help out or if it is a myth. help..

Just consumption a piece of small piece of ginger (pickled or fresh) will do the trick (it's a bit pungent, but it works instantly).

I have have several friends that have tried this, adjectives with positive responses. One of my co-workes is from India, and uses several herb to treat symptoms, he highly recommend ginger root for nausea, and states that it works very economically.
Ginger root does help, depending on why you are have nausea. Peppermint is also good. (My husband eat peppermint candy all the time for his sensitive stomach, although I'm trying to carry him to try peppermint tea sometimes instead.) Try it as a tea, or candied ginger root grated onto foods. There's a ginger hard candy that have LOTS of ginger in it -- that's what I used when I be having upset stomach problems a few years ago -- but I can't take out the name, in recent times that I found it in a organic foods store.

The best bearing to use it is to boil sliced ginger root (which is surprisingly inexpensive in a regular grocery store within the produce dept) but even powdered ginger works in a pinch. Mix a half-teaspoon of powdered ginger into a mug of sea and boil it in the microwave if you hold to. Sweeten it if necessary. Honey's preferable for a sweetener, if you own any.

Peppermint tea is also good for sedative upset stomachs.

Absolutely helps. And if you thieve it as candied ginger or ginger tea, the result is immediate. When you perceive nauseous it is firm to make yourself get through or drink anything but once you try it you'll keep it on paw all the time. If the tea seem too spicy, add a spoon of honey.

If your nausea is because of pregnancy you may find better relief from Raspberry Leaf tea, which have other health benefits.

Other stomach help are Chamomile tea for stress. Peppermint tea for acid stomach. Lemon Balm tea for cramps. Ginger is outstandingly helpful if here is gas.
