I helped mine by making a record of all the dutiful things in my time. At the time I didn't think within would be much but its suprising how many in that are. Silly little things like liking songs and T.V programmes are among some of the things that went onto my catalogue. I then looked at this inventory everythime I was thought low and this would help me look at my time in a more positive data. If something new come to mind, I would add it to my chronicle and my list grew and grew. I also kept a diary writing down adjectives my thoughts and feelings. I get over my depression without even taking a single anti-depressant.

I was told a few years ago that something call St. John's Wart can help. Think it's a herb or a root or something. Apparently you can draw from it from health shops. Clary sage is meant to be an uplifting essentail grease. You can add a couple of drops to your tub, use a few drops in river in an grease burner or mix up a couple of drops into a carrier grease like almond grease to use as a massage grease. Try some uplifting music and some exercise too as this will get the endorphins (your inherent feel-good hormones) pumping through your system.
