Supposedly studies have be done within the second 10 years that show retinavites can slow the progression of macular degeneration. The contain very soaring amounts of certain Vitamins. They aren't a cure.
Macular Degeneration is self-explanatory...it speaks for it self...it is a degenerative eye disease and, at present, within is no absolute cure.
