Is it undamaging to use nyquil as a sleep aid?

Answer:    Safe. probably.

Stupid... Definitely.

That goes for the Benadryl too ladies...

Go see a Dr.
There are plenty of cause that affect sleep. Just ask for something other than Ambien. ya know, something that will not enjoy you mysteriously sleep walking to the neighbor's house at night and giving him a reach-around or worse...lol
i guess I devise so, but I never tried it.
Use Bendrayl instead, it makes me so damn tired!
And its sheltered for you too, people hold it everyday for allergies, but also a sleep aid.
Take my advice from experience :)
No. Uh yeah... although in that are OTC sleep meds... this shouldn't be in the alternative tablets category... but... none the less , yes it's safe and sound.

but i don't think it works as capably as diphenhydramine.
occassionally maybe, but you don't want to spawn a habit of it. I wouldn't. If you are have problems sleeping then please converse to your doctor.
see a dr you don't want to become dependent on that stuff just to sleep yes
probably
the most that can develop is well i dont even know probably hold a headache all the time i've used it as a sleep aid past, i dont think its completely nontoxic to use it as a sleep aid, but the only side effects i've ever have when i woke up from using it are bad headache, and slight drowsiness

Tylonal PM is a better sleep aid, it is basically only aspirin that helps you sleep, i recommend using that instead of Nyquil
No, not for every darkness. Nyquil has seriously of other medicine within it for colds, flu, etc.

If all you have need of is a sleep remedy, try Tylenol Simply Sleep or Unisom. All they have surrounded by them are sleep aid, and a bit of pain reliever, which is adjectives you need if you're not in poor health, and you can't sleep.
Please do not take any sleep-aids until you see a Doctor.
They can enjoy many danger if you do not take them as diracted by your doctor.
they are also incredibly easy to OD on, and are not suitable to take every dark.

Hope i helped!
Relieving symptoms of agony, sinus congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and cough due to colds, upper respiratory infections, and allergies. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

n don use this if..

you are allergic to any ingredient within NyQuil Liquid
you have severe giant blood pressure, severe heart blood vessel disease, rapid heartbeat, or severe heart problems
you are incompetent to urinate or are having an asthma attack
you pinch sodium oxybate (GHB) or you have taken furazolidone or a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) inwardly the last 14 days
That's an overwhelmingly dumb grill. Buy Melatonin. It's a natural chemical (it is a chemical, right?) i.e. also produced in your and everyone else's body. Usually basically one pill will help you receive your sleep on.

Nyquil is addictive. Don't you watch the report?
My friend's mom uses it, along with heaps other things. I use it when I cough and it knocks me out. It is really horrible tasting though, I don't know why you would want to rob it every night. Just get hold of like tylenol PM, I worked at a nursing home, and we used to substitue it for a sleep aid (when someone showed signs of dependency) It works indistinguishable, just not craving forming. No medicine is pious for a sleep aid. Why don't you try exercising or doing something that will make you tired so you can sleep? If you read the bottle it say that it is fine as long as you don't use it every day. Go to the join in the source for some alternative ways to sleep save for doping yourself up on NyQuil. Plus NyQuil taste horrible.
Why would you do this? Just purchase an OTC sleep aid. no because of the alcohol content in it.
not as a dependence
