which is a better antacid neutralizing more bitter per dose, milk of magnesia or tums?
Answer: Milk of magnesia will neutralize more acid per dose, but it is also a laxative and will raison d`¨ētre diarrhea. Tums is calcium based, most empire do not get plenty calcium anyway.
milk of magnesia. We use this in the hospital but we don't use tums. pepcide or mylanta
milk of magnesia by far is the better of the two.
However I prefer Baking Soda for sharp reduction.
