I can't sleep!?


I think I enjoy insomnia and I can't take any medication because I'm breastfeeding. Any suggestions?

I be told to get a supplement call Melatonin. it is he chemical your body produces to make you sleep. I am not sure if it would be destructive to the baby if you are breast feed, but i wouldn't think so since our body produces this hormone easily.
Just try to relax and calm yourself down... listen to some soothing music or something it might work.

Figure out WHY you can't sleep and fix it. It may take a call on to a shrink or councilor to work out all of your issues that are keeping you awake.

You might merely be hypoglycemic or hungry. Eat something carby to help you grasp back to sleep. I hold to eat every darkness about 4 hours after going to bed, and I drink dinner RIGHT before bed. contrary to typical vigour advice - I enjoy to do that or else I can NOT sleep. My body lately goes through it sudden I guess, because I'm not overweight. If you are BF-ing that is taking extra calories. Also the tot probably needs to be feed at night? That is disruptive to your sleep pattern too but as they get elder hopefully they will sleep longer. Good luck

Try putting a few drops of lavender oilby tissue and lay it near your come first when you go to sleep.

If you are not sleeping because you are worried roughly your baby, I can relate you it gets better. Once they are bygone the sids stage you can relax as little bit more and get more sleep.

Even if your former that sids stage you will relax once they get elder.

I used to hold this problem (although not pregnant or in your same situation at the time) the just thing that I can ruminate of is you might have seriously of stuff on your mind. If this is the case, doctor's sometimes suggest writing within a journal or diary of some sort any worries or concerns you own on your mind so that you're not flipping through them in your mind. If it's not greatly of stuff going on in your mind perchance use the old trick of drinking reheat tea prior to going to bed at night.

I suffer from insomnia too. Here are some things that make a big difference for me. Hope it help!

1. Work out hard within the morning. Alternate between cardio and strength training every other day.
2. Cut out caffine, suger, over-processed foods and simple carbs. Don't chomp through meat within five hours of bedtime.
3. Just formerly you close yourself in your room for the hours of darkness, drink cinnamon tea. You can buy it at a health store, or freshly boil cinnamon sticks and some cocoa powder in a cup of hose down. This tastes realy virtuous with cream or honey. DO NOT SWEETEN IT WITH SUGAR or you will be up adjectives night.
4.Have a simple yoga routing to do of late before bed. Do not try to "work out" here. Just do streatches and try to relax. Play Soft instumental music surrounded by the background. My favorite is the panpipe and meek drums. Dim the lights, maybe burn lavendar or cinnomon incense. The objective here is to have a soft, relaxing atmosphere.
5. Learn to meditate formerly bed. Sit in a bench or cross-legged on the floor. Keep your spine straight. Slowly relax your whole body. Concentrate on your own breathing.
