I heard that Soy works terribly well.
Soy. Eat, drink lots of soy products, which contain unprocessed estrogens.
I have used two different ones. The first one be recommended by the Health Food Store and it did help, but for some common sense made my joints throbbing. Then I started using Estrovan w/Black Colash and I love the results!!

I find there is not a soul "best" treatment. Every woman is different. And even after you find a product that works for you, your body is changing during this time of natural life so it may not work at your next stage of perimenopause.
Look for a supplement that contains: Vitex (aka Chaste Tree), Dong Quai and Black Cohosh.
If you are also have trouble with mood swings, appropriate vitamin B-1 and the mineral Boron, too.

As everyone mentioned black cohosh is good-I also really like dong quai (angelica) for the moodiness-wished I'd enjoy found that about 3yrs ago

I apply peppermint tea plenty to my arm pits and tape beside surgical tape. Sounds crazy but every time I start to sweat the peppermint tea daypack cools me off. The nice entity about this is that I know what triggers my hot flashes so I try to composed myself down. Have you researched maca. I am testing a peppermint grease patch to see if this helps. I also enjoy horrible pit odor for about 4 days out of the month so I swab with baking soda at this time and it works wonders.
