Should ACCUPUNCTURE hurt this much?

It is my sixth session, and I freaking hate acupuncture.

Some of the points can hurt alot. Today be especially bad. The two he put within each foot be causing some sort of muscle spasm (in my foot), and it hurt alot - he eventually completed up taking them out. The ones in the stomach also hurt approaching hell when he put them in. I am definately going to verbs, but man.. it can hurt like hell! (maybe it's newly my accupuncturist lacks experience? - It is his 2nd year as an accupuncturist)

I still have principle in him and plan to verbs. Opinions?

Answer:    Acupuncture should NOT hurt at all!!

I hold had copious, many acupuncture sessions for sundry ailments, including migraine. I never experienced any discomfort in over twenty years of treatment.

I seriously devise that you should change your acupuncturist, NOW.

It seem to me that s/he is not doing it right.

* Please make sure that you Do Not move the slice where the needles are within at the time, as that will cause abrasion of the muscle/nerve.

Hope you have a feeling better soon :)

Hmm, when I had acupuncture none of the points hurt. I don't deliberate its supposed to either. If you really want to verbs perhaps you should see a different acupuncturist. Acupuncture should definitely NOT hurt at all!!
If it give you pain it is not self done correctly.
You may be able to 'feel' the needles - but it shouldn't end in pain!
You are mortal harmed - not healed.
Think going on for it - take heed of these warning!!
Those people here who voice that acupuncture shouldn't hurt have probably gone to an acupuncturist who trained here contained by the UK. A real Chinese acupuncturist - trained at a TCM university contained by China should be able to hit your spots crash on. If he or she hits the right spot and if it is indeed a very watered down point (hence the reason you necessitate acupuncture) then it should bloody hurt! If it doesn't hurt it vehicle that either the cavity point or acupuncture point isn't sensitive (so you don't involve needles in nearby in the first place) or that the acupuncturist didn't hit the right spot.
I once have such a shock from a needle person insterted into my leg that it made me jump stale the couch. It was the strangest experience within my life because I didn't control that fly, it was as if my body of late on its own and out of control of late jerked past its sell-by date the couch. Yes, it was a properly trained Chinese acupuncturist who couldn't even speak a word of English. These are the ones you should trust. No. It shouldn't hurt. The most you should consistency is a twinge as the needle is in tune.
I often dive asleep on the table. You REALLY need to carry a different accupuncturist!
I've been to masses over the years, from students to chinese to jewish. NONE of them hurt. Two were definitely fantastic.
