Are Chiropractors competent to plague out forms for speak a week of medical head off due to a saloon accident/back injury?
I took a few days off after a flipside end collision and after 3 days my work wishes a "treating medical professional" to fill out some forms for a medical move of absence. My kith and kin physician says I can dance back after one week. My Chiropractor say I should not perform physical work for 3 weeks or until my pinched nerve/muscle spasms start to move about away.
Can a Chiropractor make these decision and fill out a medical be off form??
I'm not lazy.....I simply dont want to aggravate an ongoing back issue!
Answer:
I agree beside the answer at the top, but you must fill out an calamity questionaire while you are at the office and also return for appointments should it ever be brought up contained by an arbitration or in court. If you miss any appointments it may be misconstrued. If you are using your PIP for allowance please be sure to follow through with appointments and achieve the Chiro. treatment you need.
A Chiropractor CAN supply you a "leave of absence" but they dally to give you long-term because of their position surrounded by the medical community and the lack of respect brought on by long occupancy "backward thinking".
Good Luck
I practice surrounded by Idaho and I do things like that frequently. 3 weeks is for a while longer than I usually write notes, but I would not anticipate any problems if I did. Yes is the answer to your cross-question. If the treating "medical professional" happens to be a DC (s)he should write the make a note of.
Chiropractors are licensed primary care doctors, so yes, they can prescribe medical go off and other medical restrictions.
