Is echinacea suitable for a 1 yr ancient?
He has have a cold now for a week, next to runny nose. He finds it markedly difficult to get to sleep as he can't breathe. I use echinacea solution for myself but not sure if it is ok for 1 yr olds.
Answer: Only if it says on the bottle past the worst for an infant which I doubt it will. Most will say from 2 years and up or from 6 years and up. Go into your local pharmacy or condition shop and ask for something especially designed for babies. I sell intuitive syrups that relieve cold symptoms as well as person theraputic that 1 year olds can take, look for something close to this. Unfortunately theres not alot of natural products available for this age bracket. Homeopathics are polite, so are tissue salts. Another devout product for colds and flu's in babies are probiotics, they are usually kept within the fridge section. I provide a babybiotic and it is brilliant, for the ages 0-2. Ask your health practioner for assistance contained by finding the right product.
ADD ON; As a one year old he is still an infant not a kid. Just because something is devout for kids doesnt mean its dutiful for infants. Their immune system is not full developed yet and you must be immensely careful not to provide immune boosting herbs as this will compromise the developement of the immune not minister to it. Childrens dose is 2 and up. Infant is 0-2. Do not halve the childrens dose to build it suitable for babies, this is dangerous and solitary use if suitable for INFANTS. Children can have more group than infants and this is so for a reason, and is not advisable. Ring the company up on the bottle and ask them. Echinacea is also amazingly detoxifying on the body, something a baby does not necessitate.

Yes it is. A humidifier with some drops of eucalyptus will also back.
Good luck.
it is but it has to be scale back to his age&shipment also it is to be used at the firat sign of the cold not this long after the cold.good luck i wouldnt use it, at lowest without consulting a doctor. most studies find it to be ineffective anyway, and the ones that hold found it to effective the benefits enjoy been pretty small so its pretty worthless. and in attendance is some evidence that in bloody cases it may be toxic to the liver or bone marrow. plus theoretically it can aggravate seasonal allergies because its surrounded by the rag weed loved ones so it may even make runny nose, congestion, etc in some race worse.
The rule for adminstering herbs to kids is call Clark's Rule. You divide the child's weight by 150 (adult nonspecific dosing weight) to get the fraction dosage. For example, if the full-size dose is 30 drops, and the child weighs 50 lbs, afterwards the dosage would be 1/3 of the adult dose, 10 drops. A brand call Herbs for Kids makes extract combination for kids next to fevers, colds, etc. Homeopathy is used deeply for kids as well, as I am told that it is extremely locked and often terribly effective. yes it is echinforce which is the usual recommended brand do a childrens drop
You should not try to suppress the infant's hostile response to viruses. They entail to contract viral infections in charge to build up their immune systems - this will help them to know how to fight more serious infections as they return with older.
Research have shown that children who're exposed to regular low grade infection by attending nursery university have greater protection against leukaemia as they turn through childhood.
Use Vicks on the chest, Calpol and Karvol drops onto the pillow at night to assist with breathing.
Infections might not be pleasant for kids, but they're essential for a vigorous immune system.
