Smoking weed when your sick?

I was wondering if smoking weed when your sick make it harder to get giant. Someone at my work told me it does because of something with your immune system. I smoked and in recent times felt smaller number sick and happier not really high. I know it isnt the weed because its impossible to tell apart stuff ive been smoking allk week.

Please don't answer if your in recent times gonna say something in the order of quitting or that i shouldn't smoke anyways because it's my choice. I just want an answer.
