Hi, I be wondering if know what may impose toddlers to enjoy seizure minus losing consciousness? He's 2.
First time he ever had seizure. He keeps complaining in the region of pain contained by his right foot. He had 4 contained by a lapse of 7 hrs. He was completely aware of what be going on. They only last about 45 sec. 1 minute next he was pay for to normal. Right after it happen, he would complain of pain on his right foot. Doctors surrounded by the ER say he might hold epilepsy, but I have a sensation that it may have something to do near his foot pain. Can retiring breakdowns cause seizure in toddlers? (I'm potty training him, and he's not accepting it in good health.) He also hs a newborn baby sister.

Hi, I would check near a Neurologist and make sure an EEG get done--that will check the brainwaves. They will probably do lab work also. I wouldn't think the stress would be cause it, but I'm no doctor either. I wonder if it's a guts problem where it's also involving foot backache? Does the pain precede the paroxysm? Maybe it's a hint one is coming on. Hmmm, I wouldn't linger to have him see though. Call to make an appointment near the specialist. If it happens again until that time he can be seen, rob him back to the ER and hold them make you an appointment--you'll carry in to see the doctor much sooner--or probably your regular doctor can get you surrounded by sooner to see a Neurologist too. no the doctors are right. thats classic epilepsy, the reason that his right foot could be hurting is because the seizure send his brain into trauma mode and can effect a specific region of the body i.e; a foot
Don't mess around next to this one. The slight chance that this may be epilepsy make it serious. I would rather theory test and be wrong than too late due to doubt. epilepsy can be treated near medication.
Stress can definitely produce it worse whatever is cause it. I would back sour on the potty training for right now. Give him tons of affirmation and love concerning the spanking new sibling. See if it gets better. But, still seize a neurologist to check him out.
Epilepsy is not a specific disease, it is a general occupancy used for an undiagnosed seizure disorder. It is used when a specific neurological disease cannot be pinpointed. This may not be the answer to your question but if he isn't taking potty training powerfully,it may be a good perception to stop it for now.All that stress plus have a new babe sibling is a lot for for a moment guy to take,especially since he presently has a condition to verbs about.Good luck!
