Why do stimulants effect bleeding?

Ive taken Provigil but it caused me to bleed etremely for 2-21/2
weeks so i stopped taking it since it wasnt helping anyway.
Then I started taking Adderall and approx. 5 days then i started bleeding again, I want to continue it though motive with the relieve of the VPAP (although uncomfortable) the adderall has be helping .
