Do we hold standardised drugs within Ayurveda?

Answer:
There are pretty standard herbal FORMULAS and standard PRACTICES but because herbs aren't produced pharmaceutically I'm not sure how you compare herb from different sources.
Sources for herbs: Banyan Botanicals, Maharishi Ayurved. You can find any on line and I believe both are biddable quality. You could contact any of these and ask about how they insure the characteristic of their products.
I can say that I'm intensely sensitive to chemicals, food allergies, etc. and I've never had any reaction to products from the above mentioned vendors.

It is un-reasonable to expect standardised drugs from pure source. Human being is also a creation of character. Are all the humans standard? Consider their imperviousness, their physical measurements, the appetite, the nature, the ways, skin colour, hair colour, physiological variant...
Mango from Ratnagiri, and mango from Devgad and all other parts of the world are different. The properties that`s why are relatively same of specfic herbs but it is impossible to expect standardization surrounded by this area.
