Good OTC Sleep Aid?
I am looking for names and ammounts of dosage for honourable sleep aids.
What are some that you have tried and would recomend?
Answer:
Someone a short time ago recommended to me "Melatonin" you can get it at vitamin world and it is the unprocessed chemical we produce to go to sleep. It is supposed to comfort you sleep without making your groggy during the morning like any of the PM formulas will.
try herbal teas.. stir to any retail store and look in their tea unit.. i like green herbal tea.. but that charitable i get specially from overseas.. india to be exact.. that stuff is soooo relaxing...
Just seize plain benadryl (diphenhydramine). Start with 25mg and see if it works for you. Most OTC sleep-aids are only benadryl, tylenol pm is just tylenol beside benadryl added to it.
Benadryl is rather mild and fitting at helping you fall and stay asleep.
You could also try some valerian root since you go to bed.
tryptophan...works great...I recommended it to a friend and inside a week he was sleeping approaching a baby. It's teh stuff that make you sleepy in turkey...it also might support with muscle building too...assuming you are lifting weights too...but it's not going to simply put muscle on you..lol...it works great...good luck
unisom
Go for herb rather than chemicals.

Benadryl 50 mg (2 caps).
Generic, it's diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Much cheaper.
Take Magnesium Citrate(150mg - 200mg), 30 minutes before bed.
Try some Chinese drug.
An Mien Pian is a mild herbal pill. You might need to pocket it for a week before effects start showing up.
You might hold better luck if you go see a Chinese doctor for a specific herbal formula best suited for you.
