Why do I bring snotty on AnQnA.coms?
Mosaic answered a question next to incorrect info and I emailed a correction to mosaic but I added the statement, "get your facts straight" which upset mosaic. According to mosaics own words, "I get snotty" - "Why did I get snotty?"
Answer: 2 Possibilities::: 1/ You get "snotty" because you had a principal cold. OR 2/ You were Not "Snotty" at adjectives. I have impossible to tell apart problem, that people do not close to being corrected near facts & truth. It hurts some people. The added statement of "take your facts straight" or similar, is sometimes taken as salt rubbed into an unequivocal wound. It's bad satisfactory when you are right, but do you have to rub it contained by too? type of attitude. Once, a women turned the statement around on me by making it sexual, ie:: straight--bent., no way.
Because you can't use tone next to type, they probably interpereted it with a snobbish one. you enjoy to be careful what you voice because it's very unproblematic to misinterperet. If you didn't mean it snotty, of late tell them it be a missunderstanding and didn't mean it surrounded by that tone. Usually corrections are welcome and permitted gracefully. However, your remark was the equivalent of shaking your finger at Mosaic. There may hold been several reason why his/her facts were wrong, and the edgy sarcasm be uncalled for. Ignorant people close to to pretend they're not ignorant.
When they do that, they tend to state opinion as if they are solid facts. When someone tries to correct them, they get hostile.
It's the method of the world.
Laura, I don't know what you said to Mosaic, but I just surmise he was self over sensitive! I believe your answer to that question be right on line...and he have no business putting the extra comment in his answer. If he found denounce with your e-mail, afterwards he should have e-mailed you final to smooth things out!

Well I will have to accept that I was I bit piss Mosaic push for.
I would like to believe that individuals come here to try and help other out next to there press as you did.
I get for a while upset when I see an ignorant reply to someone Else's message. I myself enjoy done extensive research on various subjects to better raise myself.
The reason I voice ignorant Is because minus thinking this mosaic put his input for others to see. An opion would have be I don't expect so. Instead this person tries to grain smarter by belittlin' others.
First of all you have a great answer, and was more nearly correct than any of the other answers. You should instead be commended for that answer. I can comprehend it can get annoying here when adjectives these people thumbs down answers or try and update you you are wrong.
I just agree to them believe their misinformation because that seems to be the common attitude here. Thumbs down and
misinformation seem to be what they want.

You can provide all kind of links and they don't bother checking them out just thumbs down you 'because an expert on TV told them different'
When you disagree next to people they bear it as snotty because you are defying what they believe within so they take it as a personal attack.

Try being simply unembroidered when you correct someone. Here's an example:
