Ever used cayenne pepper for a sore throat?
i was simply wondering if anyone has ever used cayenne pepper for a sore throat, and what recipe you used if it worked. i hold a sore throat now and antibiotics arent working, so im looking for home remedies. i go too www.earthclinic.com an saw that cayenne pepper really works. tried it?
Answer: Sorry I have never tried cayenne for sore throat. I own other remedies, such as gargling near sage tea or very thaw, salted lemon water.
I enjoy used cayenne, though, and it burns my throat. I put 1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder with liquid of one garlic clove and 2 tablespoons lemon juice and drink on an unfurnished stomach first thing surrounded by the morning to increase circulation, wake me up and boost oxygen level. The lemon acid help tame the warmth in the mouth but it is a bit painful on my throat.
If you want to try it, it won't do any defacement and might offer some medicinal benefits. It will probably hurt your throat a lot for a couple of minutes but might aid you kick anything is causing the soreness. "Cayenne encourage the adrenal glands to produce coricosteroids."* The extra cortisol helps the body to cope near stress such as infection, trauma, pain, surgery, or ardent problems
if it's dry - then no, don't do it.
try slippery elm yelp or perhaps licorice (the material stuff)
oh, and gargle with some melt salt hose a few times.
Would have thought it would pass you one not fix one. Yes i have used it.. my recipe is lemon liquid, water and as much cayenne pepper as you can manipulate. Hope this helps.
I never used cayenne pepper. But I'll suggest some indian herbal therapy I know, who knows it might assist later.
Ginger/lemon hose.
-heat up some water probably a cup. I
-grate some fresh ginger into the dampen. about the volume of partly a finger.
-add some black pepper (about 2-3 generous pinches)
-and squeeze one lime into it. You should gain at least 4 table spoons of liquid.
-Now let the river reduce to going on for 3/4.
-pour the liquid through a fine strainer to separate it from the shredded ginger
-Add as much honey as you please.
Oh, when you first find a soar throat you can alwasy do a salt and reheat water gargle. it help.

Tumeric powder with some melt milk and a pinch of salt (this is more conscientious with coughs)
