i need someone to answer this who have actually stopped smoking. untraditional methods too

There is no best way. It have to be your way. I stopped smoking 33 years ago. I have a cold with a sore throat. I tried to smoke and cough like mad. It burned my throat. I said to myself, "why are you doing this"?
At that point I knew I be doing something that was injurious to my health, so I settled to quit. I threw the cigarettes down the toilet and never bought another pack.
What you need to do is find a justification to quit that is better than the excuses to verbs.
I WAS a smoker for a bunch of YEARSSSSSSSSS !! I tried quittin colddddddd turkey as you other guys out there right to be heard but no luck over and over again i FAILED AGAIN AND AGAIN I JUST COULDN'T DO IT . I COULDN'T AFFORD THOSE EXPENSIVE NICOTINE PATCHES THAT SOME PEOPLE DO AND STILL HAVE LITTLE OR NO LUCK WITH AND SOME EVEN GET WORSE WITH IT.SOME FOLKS CAN QUIT IF THEY ONLY SMOKE ONE PACK A DAY OTHERS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH TWO OR THREE AND YEAH THAT WAS ME , I DID AND OR WAS TWO TO THREE PACK A PERSON. I BELIEVE IN GOD AND IN PRAYERS LOTS AND LOTS OF BOTH . ASK GOD FOR HELP AND HE WILL HELP BUT ... YOU MUST BE SINCERE CAUSE HE WILL KNOW IF YOU ARE NOT . HOPE THIS HELPS. FIND YOU A GOOD PENTECOSTAL CHURCH THEY WILL HELP YOU PRAY TOO.
Allow for a day rotten if this does not co-incide with a weekend.

Wait until you hold a REALLY bad cold next to sore throat - so that cigarettes are hurting the throat and you can barely drink them anyway - and then stay up until you are certainly knackered - then stop smoking and dance to bed.

The last one's the most major. If you don't smoke, then you've quit smoking. Don't permit others' failure slow down your performance, any. You don't need a miracle poppy to hang on to you from smoking... I quit for 3 years by using the cold turkey method. (Note: It involved absolutely no turkey flesh.)

Why did I start again? I immediately have the cleanest and most ably thought diet of any man I've ever known, find plenty of water, more than adequate rest/sleep, and a great deal of exercise.

Cigarettes don't snuff. Imbalance does. If you smoke, eat nil but pizza and fried foods, drink nothing but soda, and carry less than 20 hours of sleep (what's required immediately for your body to detoxify after all of that), you'll draw from cancer and die. It's just that simple.

The body can verbs itself. Quit smoking if you want to, but please don't do it because of the medical community's blatant ignorance on the subject.

There is no best way to stop smoking, my friend. The single way to stop is use your own WILL-POWER. I WAS a smoker for a few years. One year, my girl-friend ( back- then), told me to quit or else. So i thought seriously in the region of it and promised myself and later told adjectives my friends that they are free to give me a big slap across my frontage if they should see me holding a cig. in my paw and i will thanks them even.. So my friend, it is your own will-power.(Men do not insufficiency strenght but lack will-power) OK. and goodluck!!!

I personally used to smoke and quit by doing those things. Just remember that you are the most substantial person within your life. Your friends and your lifestyle are not nearly as exalted. The only character in this world that is to say gonna care roughly you is you.
