Whats the best OTC sleep aid?
Answer:
Valerian root. Works better for me than Dr. prescribed sleep aids! Give it a try, cheap and non-addicting.
phenergan 25mg tablets,
Almost all OTC sleep aids contain equal ingredient, diphenhydramine. This is a 1st generation antihistamine that cause heavy sedation. This is impressive but can cause subsequent day sleepiness. Generic benadryl is the cheapest channel to get diphenhydramine.
Valerian- be used for 1000 years. no side effects, no chemicals.
benedryl
Valerian Root has worked for me. It help you to fall asleep somewhat quickly and you are not doped up within the morning. Remember though, it IS a chemical; just a easily occurring one. Don't fall into the incorrect belief that the words "natural" and "beneficial" are synonomous. Things that are considered "natural" are not other harmless. Poison Ivy is pure, but it certainly is not safe. If you've ever had an encounter next to that, you know what I mean.
Don't be afraid to try unconscious remedies, just know what you are dealing beside first. There's plenty of info waiting for you. Also remember that the chemicals in some organic supplements should not be combined with some prescription meds.
I of late answered this question from someone else....and I forgot to put valerian contained by it!
Doxylamine Succinate (here called restavit) is a readily occuring substance and it works.
Also promethazine hydrochloride (phenergan)
Chinese herbal rememdies with funny name that you get from chinese herbal tablets practitioners also work.
