I can't swallow pills?
ahh! i need facilitate! today i got my medication and they're my first pills! i tried the first pill and i couldnt swallow it. i was full of confidence that i could, but i didnt and it started to defrost. so i spit it out. my mom ended up turning it into soft which i'm not even sure is allowed, and it was really bitter. previously i tried with candy and that didnt even work any. T_T i dont know what to do i dont wanna have to drink the bitter pills again. help please! *sniff*
Answer: If you don't swallow too plentiful pills at once and not very normally, the simplest way is to walk to a drug store (or Wal-mart) and buy a pill crusher. Coming from a paramedic, crushing a pill will not effect the drug at all. Some pills may not essence as good, but close to I said, if its only one or two pills at a time, it shouldn't be too unpromising.
drink something thick such as milk, and pretend your swallowing a peice of steak put the pill within water and only just try your hardest to down it. But some people are affraid to swollow pills and hold to inject them, like my science trainer.
Same here. I have difficulty swallowing pills. It's really silly if you deem about it because i am sure you've swallowed larger chunks of food. I lately crush it up..or take significant gulps of water. Can you cut them contained by 1/2 or 3rds smaller pieces may help. Gordon P.
I get the drift how you feel, because I can't swallow pills any..never could. Most of the time I take soft medicine, or agreement with the misery (which I don't recommend). I bought a pill crusher, so that my pill is cut in partly which makes it deeply easier. I noticed that the pill go down easier with soda because of the bubbles. K, apposite luck! ;) I can't either:( I get hold of something to eat and chew it up, next stick the pill in the chewed up food after swallow all of it. Iv'e be doing that forever!
Here is how I do it, and it's pretty easy.
Stick the pill onto the tounge of your mouth.
Fill your mouth up near a medium amount of sea.
Drink the water, and you'll find out that you swallowed the pill too.
Fold the pill into a slice of cheese and next just get through the cheese. Works every time! drink it with milk, and when you swallow it, you should place your chief down (so you are looking at the floor)
this way, the pill will float contained by the water (or doesn`t matter what you are swallowing it with) and will rise to the back of your throat.
crush them up and mix them wil apple sauce. I use to own this problem.. my mom gave me a pouch of M&Ms since they have that smooth outter shroud.. and she had me swallow em near water as a chaser.. it worked while she be watching..but i was fundamentally tempted to chew em :-) after i realized if you put a pill on your tongue, and you cart a big gulp of water you won't even discern the pill go down
