Has anyone here used Melatonin? Did it sustain you sleep better?
Answer:
I keep a bottle by my bed. It is the most unconscious sleep aid you can find, as melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone. I usually simply need 1 500mg pill, and no event how wired I am, within 10 minutes I surface a rush of drowsiness, and I am usually asleep within 15 minutes...it never fail. Also, a benefit is that you you don't wake up groggy because it is unconscious. Sweet dreams!
I am a diabetic and I have used melatonin and DHEA. Although it should own helped it did not assist me sleep better. I drink lots of diet soda and taking chromium picolinate would help next to the loss of magnesium. I am sure it was helping but it wasn't conspicuous.
Your body as you get elder looses the natural melatonin surrounded by the system..yes I use it alot, it is not addictive and doesnt leave you next to any kind of hangover...and make you sleep like you did when you be little...great stuff...also taking a liquid sunhat calcium like the ones by Kal...(you can draw from it vitaglo.com or your local health food store) taken up to that time bed helps alot not with the sole purpose for sleep but your body absorbs more when your sleeping for strong bones... hope it help
Melatonin that you buy over the counter is the same as what our body produces to facilitate us fall asleep. However, it just aids in helping us to stumble asleep, not stay asleep. So if you only hold trouble falling asleep then it should work wonders for you, otherwise you might want to ask your doctor in the region of some other medications.
I use melatonin pretty frequently, I never get up up groggy like next to any other sleep meds.
The only problem I hold with it is sometimes I have a feeling physically tired after taking it, but my mind is still wide awake when I'm trying to sleep.
Though I enjoy never used Melatonin myself however research shows that:
