How does Potassium Cyanide work so qiuckly?

Answer:
When the cyanide ion of potassium cyanide enters the bloodstream, it preferentially binds to the enzyme cytochrome 'c' oxidase and thereby blocks the oxygen binding site of the enzyme. The electron verbs necessary for conversion of oxygen to hose down cannot occur and the oxidation of ferrocytochrome 'c' to ferricytochrome 'c' by the enzyme is inhibited. This stops respiration, prevailing to instantaneous death.
Because Potassium is a brackish readily absorbed by the body

Jiminy Crickets! You're not thinking in the region of murder, are you? My spouse is a Safety Engineer at a chemical plant and was told that it single takes a small amount of cyanide to gun down a person--just enough to cover the go before of a pin is all it take. The body absorbs it super quickly.
