I purely quit after 7 years of smoking. I replaced it with lolly pops and popcicles. It's be extremely hard but very well worth it. I can smell and breath better. I tried the gum and it's really gross and didn't help me at adjectives, it tastes close to a peppery mint gum.
drinking or cigar may be a spliff

I just quit smoking contained by April, it wasn't as hard as I figure it would be. When I was out of cigs. I only just bought the "Commit Lozenges" in cherry flavor, they didn't tang to great at first, but everytime i craved a cigarette i used one of those, plus i stocked up on suckers and hard candy. After more or less a week i didn't want a cigarette anymore. I smoked a cigarette a week ago and it tasted horrible, i put it out right after i lit it. havent required one since.
I looked up your question and found this out for you. Enjoy!

Chewing gum might abet. Nowadays there's also the nicotine gum option or the patch. Also, don't tempt yourself, try to stay away from places where on earth a lot of culture are smoking and try to avoid stores that use Salem ads as wallpaper. Congratulations on quitting by the route.
this is going to sound crazy but it's true. my dad go to an acupuncturist 21 years ago and hasn't smoked since, good luck!
I own used the new drug call Chantix and i have completly stoped smoking. It is a bit spendy but if you are of a mind to quit it is almost the same price as smokes. I like too about the program that I have online support and support numbers I could call anytime I get the urge. I hardly have the urge because of the medicine. I surmise it was more a quirk for me than me really needing one anymore. I would try it though.
Before ANYTHING ELSE, try Allen Carr's ''easyway'' book [try ebay, amazon forgot the spelling of his first name]. He say NOT to use the nicotine remedies because you're still pumping the drug directly into your system and will NEVER get rid of the addiction long possession or stop OR will go backbone to smoking after you have stopped. Those remedies aren't obligatory. Try the book FIRST and if that fails you can other try anything else, but it's not the way to stop. Carr's books are number one sale of Penguin publishing for 20 years, they originated surrounded by England and it's also what all the celebrity use, and doesn't even cost more than the price of the BOOK, with a money pay for guarantee for even that! Do yourself a favor and try the natural path... AND don't gain weight any. All the answers above will make you tubby as a horse, and especially aren't the answer for Diabetics or pre-diabetics, or even dieters either. There is NO oral substitute for a cigarette long possession that won't kill you another approach [obesity, etc]. Read the BOOK.
