Why do we still do a ct brain since mri is much better contained by visualising soft tissues?

Cost, necessarily. I have severe headache and neck muscle trauma, insurance won't cover a $4,000 MRI, but no issue near a $150 CT Scan, so all they do is check for potential aneurisms. It adjectives comes down to Cost. And an MRI is one expensive machine, where on earth a CT scan is cheap and does the basics.
I do necessitate to get an MRI, because you are right, it shows soft tissue, and I hold a muscle injury, but again, that is 4k out of my pocket.
